DirBuster is a multi-threaded java application designed to brute force directories and file names on web/application servers.
Steps for the installation:
- Download java from https://www.java.com/download/ie_manual.jsp and after completion of downloading install it.
- Download JDK (Choose a version Open JDK 8LTS/Choose a JVM Hotspot) from https://adoptopenjdk.net/?variant=openjdk8&jvmVariant=hotspot and after completion of downloading install it.
- Download the DirBuster zip file from https://sourceforge.net/projects/dirbuster/files/DirBuster%20%28jar%20%2B%20lists%29/1.0-RC1/ and extract it after completion of downloading.
- Open the extracted folder and open the .jar file.
You’re done.
